Trip Effect is a blended mixture of raw acoustic rock combined with technical theory based playing, producing powerful music saturated with emotion and true heart. The sound this power trio produces redefines any and all parameters outlining what acoustic music can be and how it should be utilized. Their purpose is to put older notions pertaining to “acoustic rock” into a shredder, while demonstrating that acoustic music can throw down just as hard as anything else. Trip Effect’s music is the direct result of taking various underlying concepts, stemming from many genres of music, and applying those principles, creating songs within the framework of a hard, driving, yet soulful, “unplugged” sound. Trip Effect’s number one item on their agenda is to create music that not only pushes the boundaries, but breaks them. They have taken an instrument and sound, normally used for softer songs and ballads exclusively, and shown beyond any reasonable doubt that the “unplugged” sound has infinite room to rock out in a truly unprecedented way. The ideas and songs continue to evolve and take new life, resulting in a metamorphosis of music that leaves a defined imprint on the soul of anyone within audible range.
